Grand Harbor Marina, Counce, TN

"The weather outside is frightful, but inside is so delightful . . . "

Yes, the weather has been very cold, as it is in many places across the US.  We have simply been staying inside a lot and keeping warm - heaters running constantly.  Fortunately, we only got a dusting of snow Sunday night and Monday was a sunny day, as today is shaping up to be.  Monday was our shift back to reality:  David started working for his client and the boys started school.  They are enjoying being able to "go to school" in their pjs.
The marina we are staying at is nice. It sits right on the main channel at the intersection of the TN River & Tombigbee Waterway, so traffic passes right by our window.  They have a courtesy van they are allowing us to use, so we have gotten out a little to explore where we are - middle of nowhere.  Savannah, TN is interesting, and the kids & I visited the TN River Museum yesterday.  We will leave in a couple days to head south again.

  2. Yes! And, when it is not so cold, and the water is on at the docks, they have nice convenient facilities!
